A Season Of Celebrations

Posted by Kirsten Bridge on

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the arrival of the Olympic flame on our shores and the celebration of our first birthday at our shop... early summer promises to be the season of champagne toasting, bunting hanging and Union Jack waving! May has been a riot of large cardboard boxes arriving from our favourite suppliers based all over the UK; fabulous new bedding in stripy tones, on-trend, lightweight summer scarves incorporating floral, polka dot and star print designs, practical enamelware kitchen and garden lines and of course one or two items with more than a nod towards our royal leader.  The Jubilee...

Experiences not objects - family camping weekends, concerts, walking on...

A Truly Splendid Event at Arley Hall

Posted by Kirsten Bridge on

A chaotic week this one, Cambridge, Cheshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire in 3 days, leaving the team full of festive spirit, and with rather a lot of cardboard boxes to take to the recycling centre!  We loved seeing familiar faces at the beautiful Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular and we were delighted to be invited to exhibit at the fabulous event for a second time.  Arley is a most gorgeous hidden gem of a country house, quintessentially British and nestled in the pretty Cheshire countryside and each year it hosts one of the best festive shopping events we have involved in. Designer-makers...
