This time of year there is not a lot of time for sleeping or "smelling the roses" here at Lily and Lime HQ.
Since mid October the frenzy of giftwrapping has cranked up another level as the festive season approaches with almost breathtaking speed. This year the recent snowy weather has meant that even more customers have chosen to shop online and we are delighted to have turned so many orders around in a 24 hour period to ensure customers receive their orders in double quick time.
The launch of our new website has been a very exciting development and customer feedback has been fantastic with several commenting specifically on the easier to navigate design and the incorporation of customer feedback and press featured products.
Closer to home we are enjoying this exciting season with our little ones, and with this afternoons walk through a fairy lit forest to make festive crafts and visit Santa we feel that our Christmas preparations have also begun. Our local National Trust property made a truly spectacular setting for this Christmas tradition and the snow did help to create the Christmas cardlike scene.
Somehow, in between the arrival and departure of the various helpful pixies who giftwrap and order dispatch as they go, this week my own decorations will go up and the plans for feeding 22 on Christmas Day must begin. I can only keep saying "Its only a large roast" for so long and with less than 3 weeks to go, the "I have made the cranberry sauce already" phrase is becoming considerably less impressive than it was... On then to approach that plan, whilst our lovely customers shop over the weekend, secure in the knowledge we will do all we can, to help them to keep their gift lists reducing as the 25th looms
Happy Advent to you all
